International Women’s Day “in the city of Qamishli.

By an invitation of the Kurdistan Democratic Party in Syria, it was the celebration of International Women's day on Saturday March 8  ,at the headquarters of the east – office party , in the city of Qamishli, where the ceremony was attended by many art, cultural, and  political events, beside  mobilization of women.

The celebration began with a minute of silence in tribute and honor for the  spirit of Kurd martyrs , then , the audience chanted the national anthem "ay Raqib" ,followed by a speech by "Derya Ibrahim" (Deputy Minister of Human Rights in the management of Al-Jazeera province) .

She spoke about the role of women in the development of societies and nations renaissance, and the difficulties experienced by Eastern and Kurdish women , in the past and present Then, entertaining competitions were held for the audience.
